Account Manager


Full-time (40 hours/week)
Remote - Home Office
Between 60%-80% Travel
Nationwide Clients


  • Develop and maintain key relationships with healthcare organizations utilizing Epic Systems EHR
  • Consult with current and prospective Epic clients and present high-quality options and solutions
  • Acquire new and repeat business related to Epic EMR implementations, upgrades, integrations, system migrations, training, and system optimization (service area roles including: project managers, device and software integrators, system builders, curriculum designers/trainers, etc.)
  • Meet and exceed the organization’s designated revenue targets and account retention goals Attend key conferences to increase professional network and identify additional opportunities

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred)
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling Epic healthcare IT services to hospital and health systems
    • Existing business relationships in the Epic hospital/healthcare IT sector
    • Solid clinical workflow knowledge and understanding of the full life cycle process for implementations, upgrades, support, and optimization
    • Strong working knowledge of Epic applications; at least one Epic certification a plus
    • Strong business acumen, technically oriented, consultative selling ability, and ability to identify new service opportunities
    • Experience working with and presenting solutions to hospitals and health systems C-suite
    • Demonstrated experience and ability to manage projects; a PMP certification a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong business relationship skills
    • Completion of previous sales and professional development training
    • Within driving distance of a major airport, and ability to travel up to 80% while abiding by HDM’s expense policy
